Record & replay
Hit record, do the thing once. Every click, key and pause is captured with its timing, ready to loop.
Record your clicks and keystrokes once, then let Macro X play them back on a loop, on a hotkey or in the background. For macOS and Windows.

Macro X records your clicks and keystrokes, watches the screen for what to do next, and plays it back exactly — on a loop, on a hotkey, or quietly in the background.

Write macros as plain lines — Type, Click, Wait, Press — chained with then, or and repeat counts.
Image detection finds buttons wherever they appear, so macros react to what's on screen instead of fixed spots.
Built-in OCR reads words and numbers off the screen and lets your macro decide what to do with them.
Set your clicks per second and Macro X measures what it actually hits, so the speed you pick is the speed you get.
Send clicks and keys to a chosen window while you keep using your computer.
No scripting language to learn. Each line says what it does, and four simple patterns cover almost everything.
Press your record hotkey and do the task once — or type it as commands.
Adjust delays, add image checks, set how many times it repeats.
Hit play. It loops until you stop it — even in the background.
The Macro X Launcher checks for the newest version when your computer starts, swaps out the old one and opens it. Your settings and macros stay exactly where they are.
It's a false alarm, and it happens to almost every macro tool and autoclicker. Two things trigger it:
Only download Macro X from macrox.cc. Copies from anywhere else could have been tampered with.
Click More info, then Run anyway. You only need to do this once. If your antivirus deletes or quarantines the file, restore it and add the Macro X folder as an exclusion (in Windows Security: Virus & threat protection → Manage settings → Exclusions).
Same reason: the Mac version isn't notarised, which needs a paid Apple Developer membership. To open it the first time, right-click Macro X → Open → Open. Or go to System Settings → Privacy & Security, scroll down and click Open Anyway. After that it opens normally.
Those are what let any macro app work: Accessibility to click and type for you, Input Monitoring to record your keys and listen for hotkeys, and Screen Recording to spot images and text on screen. Nothing is recorded or sent anywhere. It all stays on your computer.
Your macros, settings and recordings are stored only on your computer. The only time Macro X goes online is to check your license key and to look for updates. It never sends your keystrokes or screen anywhere.
It depends on the game. Some allow macros and autoclickers, and some ban them in their rules. Check the rules of the game you play. Using Macro X is your choice and your responsibility.
Macro X is £4.99 a month. Payment goes through Lemon Squeezy: debit or credit card, PayPal, Apple Pay or Google Pay. Your license key arrives by email straight away. You can cancel any time, and Macro X keeps working until the end of the month you've paid for.
One key works on one computer at a time. Getting a new PC? Deactivate it on the old one first and activate it on the new one. If the old computer is gone, get in touch and we'll reset it for you.
Only the first time you enter your key. After that, Macro X works offline and quietly re-checks your license when you're connected.
The Macro X Launcher checks for a new version every time your computer starts, swaps it in and opens it. Your settings and macros are kept.
Yes: Windows 10 and 11 (64-bit), and Macs with Apple silicon (M1 or newer) on macOS 11 or later.
